Core modules

Sum up the day, file the facts.

Reads your workspace and, if you have one set up, your calendar feed, then writes a signed summary of the day into your Daily note. Decisions and meeting notes get a file each, numbers go to your numbers log, tasks go to a task list, and every outbound message stays a draft. Drafts, and any approval, blocker or change to prices, offers or permissions, go to the one contact you named.

  • Sends nothing on its own
  • Stops at your set limits
  • Escalates to one person

01When to use it

Run it daily, or to catch up.

  • You want a standing run, on a schedule or on demand, that keeps your workspace current.
  • Meetings or a long day have left material that needs sorting into the right files.
  • You are setting it up once and want its run instructions written, with a schedule set where a scheduler exists.

Not for

  • Registering a tool or a data feed. Use /connect
  • Logging one number by hand, or asking what you know about it. Use /memory
  • Briefs, meeting logs and reports for one client. Use /client

02What it needs

What it reads before writing.

  • Your settings: a cap for each kind of work (reads, writes, transcripts, emails, messages, housekeeping), your sign-off, and the one person who gets decisions.
  • Your latest Daily note and the newest rows of your numbers log, so it does not repeat work.
  • The list of connections and which are switched on. Only active ones are read.
  • Optional: a calendar feed link, marked active.

03What it writes

Each fact is filed where it belongs.

Daily/YYYY-MM-DD.md
A signed summary: what happened, what changed, open loops, and any cap it hit.
Memory/
One file per decision, and new rows in the numbers log, each naming where it came from and a confidence level. Earlier rows are never edited.
Operations/ and Team/
Meeting notes, plus tasks on the shared list or on the list of the teammate who owns them.
Inbox/
Anything it cannot match to one client or contact, left for you instead of guessed.

04Limits

What it never does.

  • Send, publish, delete, contact a client, or change prices, offers or permissions on its own.
  • Read past a cap to finish. It stops that category and notes that it ran out.
  • Put a claim in the summary that no record backs up.
  • Read across into another client's folder on an agency setup.

What stays with you.

  • Approving and sending every draft it leaves.
  • The decisions it raises: approvals, blockers, and changes to prices, offers or permissions.
  • Wiring the schedule yourself when no scheduler is available.

05Sample output

A day, summed up and filed.

An excerpt from one Daily note, for a made-up catering business. In a real note, every line traces to a record the run read.

Also in the note

  • Calendar: 4 meetings read from the feed.
  • Ran out of budget on reads.
  • Raised with your named contact: approve the draft reply to the venue.

07Questions

Before you run it.

Can it send the follow-ups it writes?

No. Every email, message, post or reply it writes is saved as a draft and shown to your named contact. A person sends it.

Which of my tools does it read?

In this version, one: a calendar feed you mark as active. Other tools can be listed, but none has code behind it, so without the calendar the run reads your workspace alone and tells you so.

Does it run on its own every day?

Only if a scheduler is available. Setup writes its run instructions and, with a scheduler, puts them on your chosen schedule and records it. Without one, you get the schedule line and the instructions to set up yourself.
