SEO and visibility

Give AI an answer it can quote.

Rates a page, or a draft not yet published, on how well AI assistants and generative search can read, trust and quote it: answers that stand on their own, buyer questions as headings, numbers with sources, a clear statement of what the page is about, schema, and signs the content is current. Then it drafts the rewrite in your voice and a checklist to work through before you publish.

  • No claim outgrows its source
  • Written in your voice
  • A person publishes it

01When to use it

Use it when AI answers pass you by.

  • A page does fine in classic search, yet AI assistants never cite it or sum it up.
  • You are about to publish a pillar or answer page and want it built to be quoted from the first day.
  • A topic matters to your buyers, and you want the AI answer on it to be yours.
  • Leadership asks whether your content shows up when prospects put questions to an AI assistant.

Not for

  • Tuning a page for one query in classic search. Use /seo-optimize
  • Writing the article from a blank page. Use /seo-content
  • Your map and directory listings. Use /local-visibility

02What it needs

A page, and the facts behind it.

  • The page address. For a topic not yet published, the draft and its working slug.
  • Your buyer profile: who puts the questions to the AI, what they ask, and how they phrase it.
  • Your brand and voice files, so every rewrite sounds like your business (on an agency setup, like the client).
  • Your offers and company profile, which hold the facts about you a model has to get right.
  • Optional: an earlier brief for the page, past GEO audits, or an export from an AI citation tracker.

03What it writes

Six files and a ledger row, all drafts.

brief.md
Scope, the question set, the top gaps, the chosen metric, and the next step, which is a person publishing.
data/source.md
The page as captured, with its source and fetch date, so the audit can be reproduced.
data/questions.md
The 8 to 15 questions a buyer would put to an AI assistant about the topic.
data/geo-assessment.md
Every signal rated strong, partial or missing, with the specific gap.
final/geo-improvements.md
For each weak signal, the fix and the rewritten copy: claims that lift out cleanly, a Q&A block built on the question set, stat callouts with sources, a definition paragraph and a schema snippet that stays a draft.
final/geo-checklist.md
The order to work in before publishing: claims, Q&A, stats, entity, schema, freshness and internal links.
Ledger row
The visibility metric it targets, such as citations in AI answers, or presence in answers to the question set, sampled monthly. The baseline reads to-be-measured until one can be taken.

04Limits

What it never does.

  • Publish, deploy schema, or edit the live page. A connector may push a draft at most, and going live is a separate step a person approves.
  • Count your page copy as a source. A claim with nothing behind it in your files is flagged and kept out of the rewrites, the Q&A and the schema.
  • Let a claim grow past its source. A result your records show once never turns into every, most or always.
  • Say your business is cheaper, faster or better than anyone else unless something in your files backs it up.
  • Invent a metric, or suggest a stat for the page without naming where it came from.

What stays with you.

  • Approving the rewrites and publishing the page.
  • Working through the checklist before it goes live.

05Sample output

Weak signals, with the draft fix.

An excerpt from the improvement draft for the services page of a made-up office cleaning company. A real draft cites a source for every external fact and stat, and leaves out any claim it cannot source.

final/geo-improvements.md Illustrative, not a client result.
Extractable claims Rewrite
FixState the service area in one sentence that stands alone
Draft copyExample Cleaning cleans offices across Springfield, five nights a week.
Structured Q&A Q&A
FixUse buyer questions as headings, answer first
Draft copyDo you clean on weekends? Yes, on Saturdays, for offices on a weekly plan.
Citations and sources Flagged
FixDrop "the best cleaners in town", which no file supports
Draft copyLeft out of the rewrite, the Q&A and the schema

Also in the draft

  • A definition paragraph: Example Cleaning is a commercial cleaning company for offices in Springfield.
  • A FAQ schema snippet for the Q&A block, marked draft and not deployed.

07Questions

Before you run it.

How do I track whether the changes help?

It sets a metric to watch: citations or share of AI answers where those can be tracked, or else whether you appear in AI answers to the question set, sampled monthly. When no baseline can be taken yet, the ledger row says to-be-measured instead of guessing.

Can it reuse the claims already on my page?

Only the ones a source in your files supports. The page itself does not count as a source, so an unsupported line is flagged in the checklist and kept out of the rewrites, the Q&A and the schema, the lines an assistant quotes.

Does it work before a page goes live?

Yes. Give it the draft and a working slug instead of an address. It reads the draft in place of a fetched page and writes the same set of files.
