SEO and visibility

Get a ranked list of SEO fixes.

Reads the pages in scope (on a big site, a sample of its main templates), plus its robots file and sitemap, and grades the technical and on-page basics: titles, descriptions, headings, links, structured data, images and mobile setup. You get a health score, a letter grade, the quick wins, and each finding with the page and the exact tag or value behind it.

  • Never touches the live site
  • Works from your public pages
  • Re-runs show what moved

01When to use it

Run it before fixes, and again after.

  • You are starting on a new site or project and want a baseline before any content or search work begins.
  • You are about to put time into content or search, and want the biggest fixes found first.
  • You ran it before and want the changes since then, good or bad.

Not for

  • A deep dive on indexing, redirects or canonicals alone. Use /seo-technical
  • Reworking a single page for a single search. Use /seo-optimize

02What it needs

It starts from a web address.

  • Your site, a set of pages, or one page. It asks for the address only when none is on file.
  • Who you sell to and what you sell, so it knows which pages earn money and checks those hardest.
  • Earlier scores and any search targets, so findings tie back to them.
  • Optional: a crawler export for a big site, or a connected tool such as Search Console for measured numbers.

03What it writes

Three draft files, raw page data and ledger rows.

brief.md
The pages in scope, who owns the work, and the bar for done.
final/audit.md
Score and grade, a scorecard by category, quick wins, then findings worst first, each with evidence and a fix. A re-run opens with what changed.
data/baseline.json
The score, the grade and each category score, kept so the next run has something to compare against.
Ledger rows
The health score and other starting numbers, dated, with a source and a confidence of confirmed or inferred.

04Limits

What it never does.

  • Change your live site, submit anything to a search engine, or publish.
  • Pass off an estimate as a measurement. Numbers read from page code are labeled inferred.
  • Count a check that does not apply as a pass. It is left out of the score.
  • Report a finding without the page address and the exact value behind it.

What stays with you.

  • Making every fix on the live site.
  • Picking the next step it offers: the quick wins, one page, or a re-run once fixes ship.

05Sample output

A slice of the findings.

Three findings for a made-up bike shop site. A real report gives the page address and the exact tag or value for every row.

final/audit.md Illustrative, not a client result.

FixRemove noindex from the page

07Questions

Before you run it.

Will it change anything on my site?

No. It reads public pages and writes a report. It never edits the site, never submits anything to a search engine, and never publishes. A person makes the fixes.

Do I need Search Console or other tools connected?

No. A full run works from the public pages alone, plus an export if you have one. A connected tool widens the check and replaces estimates with measured numbers, and the report says which findings used live data.

What happens when I run it again?

It finds the last run and opens with the changes: the score shift, findings fixed, new ones, and anything that slipped back. A flat or falling score is reported as plainly as a gain.
